Sue is a highly accomplished health executive who has served in CEO and leadership roles across private and public health services, driving innovation in high quality patient care for the past 20 years. Sue most recently held the role of CEO at Southern Adelaide Local Health Network where she was known for placing patient’s wellbeing as central to every decision and for her passion in coaching and developing people. Sue has direct experience of medical imaging through her time at Flinders Medical Centre, Noarlunga Hospital and through multiple hospitals in Victoria.

Sue is a Professor at the School of Medicine and Public Health within Flinders University, a Wharton fellow and holds an Executive MBA and Master of Nursing Science.

In accepting the role, Sue told the Board and partners,

“It is a privilege to lead Jones Radiology that has such a strong brand for quality and integrity in patient care in South Australia and beyond. I am very much looking forward to visiting the clinics and getting to know our staff, doctors and referrers.” 

Born and raised in South Australia, Sue and her husband Michael returned to Adelaide in 2018 following a decade in Victoria where Sue held the roles of CEO of St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, CEO of Albury Wodonga Health, and Executive Director of Nursing at Cabrini Health, Melbourne.

Sue will formally commence as CEO at Jones Radiology in mid-October 2021.

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank David Coorey for his outstanding service and contribution to Jones Radiology over the last 13 years. David will continue to work with Jones Radiology during this transition period to assist Sue and the team with a smooth handover before leaving us to continue his next adventure.
