Dr Nedumaran graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Madras Medical College, India, in 1995.

Dr Nedumaran undertook postgraduate surgical training in India and UK for 7 years until 2002. During this time, Dr Nedumaran was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) in 1999.

Dr Nedumaran trained as a Specialist Registrar in Clinical Radiology including subspecialty training (GI/HPB and Nuclear Medicine/PETCT) in the UK between 2002-2008. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2005.

Dr Nedumaran worked as a Consultant Radiologist at the Aintree University Hospital, a tertiary referral teaching hospital in Liverpool, UK between 2008 and 2016. During this time, he was an educational supervisor for Radiology trainees and an honorary lecturer at the Merseyside school of Radiology and University of Liverpool, UK respectively.

Dr Nedumaran joined Jones Radiology in 2016 and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2017.  Dr Nedumaran specialises in Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary and Cross sectional imaging as well as Nuclear Medicine (accredited ARSAC licence holder in UK), PET CT and Onco-radiology.

Dr Nedumaran is married with two children with a keen interest in astronomy and sports and enjoys travelling, playing badminton and tennis.
